Steelers Lose to Cowboys 20-17

The Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Dallas Cowboys 20-17 in a dramatic game that featured a late fourth-quarter touchdown by the Cowboys. The game was delayed by severe weather, but once it resumed, both teams struggled at times with mistakes.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott had a mixed performance, throwing for 352 yards and two touchdowns but also committing three turnovers, including two interceptions. Despite these setbacks, Prescott led a game-winning drive in the final minutes. He connected with Jalen Tolbert for a fourth-down, four-yard touchdown pass with just 20 seconds remaining to secure the victory.

Pittsburgh’s offense struggled throughout the night, managing just 222 total yards. Quarterback Justin Fields threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns, including a late score to Pat Freiermuth that briefly gave the Steelers a 17-13 lead with under five minutes left. However, the Steelers’ defense, despite forcing multiple turnovers, couldn’t stop Dallas on their final drive.

Running back Rico Dowdle played a key role for the Cowboys, rushing for 87 yards and scoring a touchdown on a 22-yard reception. Pittsburgh’s run game was less effective, with Najee Harris limited to 42 yards on the ground. The Steelers’ defense also struggled to contain Prescott, allowing the Cowboys to convert crucial third and fourth downs in the final moments
